Pak Datacom and Kacific Forge Strategic Alliance to Deliver High-Speed Satellite Internet Across Pakistan

Islamabad – July 3, 2025: Pak Datacom Limited, a leading public sector company in data communication and network solutions in Pakistan, and Kacific Broadband Satellites Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand advanced satellite broadband across Pakistan, with a focus on underserved areas.
The partnership aims to accelerate connectivity in underserved and remote regions of Pakistan in the upcoming months by leveraging Kacific’s high-throughput satellite capacity and Pak Datacom’s robust ground infrastructure and national footprint. The two companies will collaborate to deploy VSAT terminals, establish ground stations, and provide critical broadband services to the education, healthcare, enterprise, and government sectors.

The scope of the Collaboration includes
- Expanding the take-up of Kacific’s Retail and Wholesale products in Pakistan, Gigstarter and FlexVNO.
- Infrastructure Deployment – Joint deployment of Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT) and hub infrastructure.
- Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) – Establishing robust SLAs that define key metrics, including data throughput, availability, and latency.
- Joint Service Development and Marketing – Co-development and co-marketing of satellite broadband services for key sectors.
- Capacity Building and Training – Joint training programs, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Technical Synergy – Leveraging each party’s platforms, infrastructure, and expertise to develop efficient service models.
